Job Information
- Transport goods and products from the warehouse to designated delivery locations, such as retail stores, distribution centers, or customer residences.
- Safely operate company vehicles, including vans, trucks, or delivery vehicles, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload merchandise, packages, or pallets onto and from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of delivery orders, invoices, and shipping documents before departure and upon delivery.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency, minimize delivery times, and reduce fuel consumption.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) may be required for larger vehicles or commercial deliveries.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, warehouse worker, or similar role.
- Clean driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations.
- Strong knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and packages, up to a specified weight limit.
