Job Overview:
Softje Technology Solutions is seeking reliable and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Cashiers. The ideal candidates will handle transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent service to our customers. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
• Scan items, process payments, and issue receipts using cash registers or POS systems.
• Ensure pricing and product information is accurate.
• Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions securely.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Answer customer questions and address any concerns or complaints.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cash registers or POS systems.
• Knowledge of basic computer applications.
• Customer service experience in a retail environment.
